And from a laid back look to an on track look - try a black suit coat with a sports shirt and denim jeans. That same jacket can also be paired with black suit pants, a dress shirt and tie for a more pulled together look.
Teen girls will want to try a look that goes from glam to global - try a knit top with jewel studded gauchos, chandelier earrings, and double row metallic beaded necklace, then change into a pieced long skirt and sandal for a more bohemian look.
Young men can find different looks as well, from independent to intellectual. The same khaki shorts can be worn with a short sleeved polo and then change into a short sleeved woven shirt over a t-shirt.
New spring and summer colors are making a splash this season in both apparel and shoes. "From flats to heels, metallics continue to be a hot fashion trend in shoes in brushed golds and bronze," says Judy Garner of Payless ShoeSource. "Look for vibrant colors like green, blue, yellow and orange in canvas shoes as well as prints, stripes and color blocking."
